Getting Started Checklist
Welcome to your onboarding!
Follow these steps in your own time and at your own pace. While this is not official training from the agency, these first steps have been designed by our community to ensure that you have a basic understanding of what you have access to and how to use the travel booking platform.
Let's go!
01.
Take note of your login
You should have received a welcome email from Inteletravel (check your junk folder). This will give you access to your travel booking system (what we call the ‘back office’), then download this important information document.

02.
Complete the regulatory training
Log in with your credentials and begin the regulatory training (around 4 hours of video content). This must be completed before you can access anything in your Inteletravel back office. It is a series of videos and a multiple choice test afterwards. Try to watch these on a laptop instead of a phone and ensure that the videos play until the last second to register as fully completed. Find the regulatory training by following the following steps:
- log into your Inteletravel back office system
- click ‘Education’ menu
- select ‘Required UK Regulatory Training’
- scroll down to ‘Start your UK Regulatory Training Videos’
- select ‘Enrol for Free’
- Training videos appear on the next page - scroll down & select complete and continue.
- click Education menu
- InteleTravel University
- scroll down to InteleTravel Online Academy Training Videos
- click 'Start Your Training Videos' (red text)
- click Enroll or Resume and do these in own time.
It's useful for your sponsor to know once you’ve completed this, so they can best support you while you are getting started.

ABTA registration & training (UK agents)
Click here to follow the steps to register with the Association for British Travel Agents and complete your ABTA training.

Insider Travel Group introduction
Watch this 15 minute introduction video by Adele. WATCH HERE.
This will give you an overview of what you have access to in the Insider Hub and your Inteletravel travel booking 'back office' system, and will help you to familiarize yourself with where to look for what.

Agency Welcome Webinar
Hosted by the Inteletravel, this provides an overview of your back office system with an opportunity for Q&A.
The link to register for the welcome webinar is found within the Educational Webinars email sent from Inteletravel. This email is sent every Friday - and contains details of webinars for the following week. There is a lunchtime and an evening welcome webinar every Wednesday - register in advance through the email.
Alternatively, if those timings are not convenient, listen to a recorded webinar HERE. Note - you must still register and the next screen will provide access to the recording.

Register with a Preferred Partner
and a hotel group
1) Choose one of the Preferred partners to register with. Navigate to the Preferred Partners page in your back office and watch the short webinar on how to book commissionable travel with them. (We recommend starting with Expedia TAAP).
2) Register with one of our favourite hotel groups for your own personal travel benefits.

Arrange your check in call
Once you reach this point, reach out to the person who introduced you to the opportunity to arrange a 20 minutes ‘touch base’ catch up over Zoom (or in person if you are local!) – we want to help you get the most from this!
There is no rush but we’d love to be able to guide you with whatever it is you’d like to look at doing first!
Also, if you are wanting to use your affiliate link then we can show you how to start making residual income from something that everyone is doing anyway – booking travel.

Post/tell people about your business
The only way to grow your business is to SHARE YOUR BUSINESS!
Join one of our NEXT STEPS calls every first Thursday of the month at 8pm - hosted on Zoom by our more experienced agents. This will give you practical tips for launching your business, dealing with those first enquiries and will guide you on how to make your initial investment back quickly. The link for this is shared in the Insider Travel Group Community chat.
