Taking Payments
for Travel Bookings

For quick reference we have saved the various Inteletravel processes below. These processes only apply to bookings where Inteletravel is the MOR (merchant of record - ie payment is made to Inteletravel not directly to the partner - check the tile relating to the partner you are booking with). If Inteletravel is not the MOR, follow the Preferred Partner's own unique payment process.

This is your step by step user guide (in pdf form) on creating payment links.

This is for collecting the remaining balance for bookings when a deposit has already previously been paid and there is an outstanding final balance.

Please refer to the specific preferred partner terms and conditions of your booking to know the date that the remaining balance is due by...and don't forget to mark it in your diary!

You must then collect the remaining balance from the client at least two weeks prior to this final payment due date. (Be sure to provide your client at least a month notice prior to that so that they are prepared).

This is firstly to ensure enough time for the money to reach the preferred partner, and secondly to provide a buffer so that if the client didn't or couldn't pay when prompted, you have sufficient time to cancel the booking without the remaining payment still being required - as per the partners terms and conditions.
